Question: I just had fat removed from my belly and injected into my cheeks, and I'm hoping that this is a permanent procedure. I was TOLD that it was and what not, and I'd hate to feel like I was lied to.

Yes it is a permanent procedure. The entire volume of fat injected may not survive and some will be reabsorbed, but the majority of it will stay
I'm not sure that it is permanant. My only experience with this subject is a friend of mine who had her own fat injected into her lips to plump them up. She was told the results would last approximately 6 months or so, and that is about how long it did last .
However, maybe it's different when injected into the cheek area. Hope so!
