How can I releave a sore throat by tonight?!

Question: I woke up this morning with a really bad sore throat, and barely any voice. Tonight I'm going to church and then we're having a Super Bowl party kinda thing at my youth pastor's house afterwards, and I really want to go. Are there any methods I can use to make my throat quit hurting by tonight?

honey or sticky things try root beer it is considered a nutural cough syrup

you can try chloraseptic and medications along that route, you won't make it go away but the over the counter meds will help keep the pain in check, kinda crappy you have a sore throate for super bowl but that's life I guess. Hit a walgreens and see what they have available.

Molasses honey is supposed to be the best for this kindof thing, although yoghurt might help and all those medications could do something.

You can't in such a short period of time.

I use this stuff called Cepacol. It's a liquid spray, but also comes in cough drops. You just spray it on the sides of your throat, and even though it feels a little weird at first, your throat stops hurting. You can buy it at any drugstore.

Painkillers are the best solution, perhaps an anti-inflammatory like Aspirin (assuming you can tolerate it). Drink water, perhaps with a little lemon juice. It depends really what the cause of the sore throat is: if it is abrasion from sleeping in a dry room with your mouth open, it will clear after a few days; if it is an infection you'll have it a little longer, so avoid dairy products.

gargle in soluble paracetamol.

1- Have a complete rest from any stress.
2- Every thing you have must be hot.
3- Avoid cooled drinks.
4- Avoid cold weather.
5- Have as much as you can of warm Lemon Juice.
6- Forget that you are suppose to be OK by tonight.
