I'm really hungry but can't eat anything what can i do?!
Question: to get this horrible feeling of hunger away?
i've got to go into hospital tommorrow to have an endoscopy procedure, i can't have anything to eat after 12 noon today then i've got to start taking a solution to clear my bowels. But i'm starvin, i am only aloud certain food for my lunch then nothing after that until after the procedure which is tommorrow at 09.30. what do you suggest i do to occupie my self to stop thinking about food?.

I've done that whole procedure and you just have to tough it out - I think you can drink water, though(?)
When I had mine (with a colonoscopy, too), I took-off of work and just Slept a lot.
It's hard, but there really is no way around the pre-suffering,

Keep busy. Go for a walk, read a book, play a game. Anything to keep your mind off your hunger. Good Luck!
drink water, will make you feel like theres something in your stomach or even chew some gum, i'd go to bed early :P
Go to sleep if you can, and for goodness sake please don't eat or drink, because if you do and they find something that needs looking into via anesthetic? then they won't do it because of the very fact you have food in your tummy. Just relax and think of how nice it will be when your allowed to eat again, then when your allowed, treat yourself to something nice....yum yum
