Do you suffer from premature 'senior moments' ?!

Question: I'm not that old but sometimes I go upstairs and then by the time I get to the landing I've forgotten why I came up!

Answers: I'm not that old but sometimes I go upstairs and then by the time I get to the landing I've forgotten why I came up!

I am so glad to hear I am not the only one that does that. I have made myself stay in the room and focus on what I came in there for until I can remember. It's helped!!

I've been doing that for years! It's really annoying.

All the time, or sometimes mid conversation I will forget what the point of a story I am telling was. It is quite common I think (I hope) anyway apparently it just gets worse as we get older, so that's something to look forward to.

Join the club I do that about a dozen times a day and im not that old

i do that for yearrs and im 20 lol

there is no hope for some lol

Yes,I am only 46 but this happens to me sometimes.

Senior moments? That's a nice way to put it. The act of forgetting or short - term memory is normal. This is esp true if one is stressed, mind is preoccupied with other issues in life; depressed; excited about other events; and distracted by other visual experiences. Drinking and some drugs can also cause one to be forgetful and lose concentration. Multi-tasking . and when one is in a hurry can also attribute to poor short-term memory. Other causes are poor recall and poor association or the deliberate act of forgetting.

This happens to me sometimes,. I tend to multi-task. So when I open the cabinets; I forgot what I was going to get or forget the trend of thought or the topic of the conversation.

I do that too... I think it must be the altitude :o)

Have to go back to where I was and normally something will trigger the memory of what I was going to do in the first place!

Yep, i tried to make brownies for my man the other day!, but forgot the Flour so they were like pure chocolate with eggs and sugar, umm dentists treat!

And the walking to a place things is a daily re-occurence for Me

Lol!
