Burping up food?!
Question: After meals I find that I am burping up my entire meals. When I burp it just comes back out. Sometimes when im in public I have to swallow it down again. It lasts usually up to 2 hours after eating. What can I do to eliminate this?

I used to have the same problem when I was growing up. Lately, I've found out that if you add lemon juice to your drinking water, along with your meals it helps. A lot...
Take some ENO after the meal! Some Pepto Bismol may also help.....if your stomach rumbles or makes funny noises take some Malox. Good luck :)

Are you a fast eater? I don't know if that's the case, but I have a habit of eating my food very fast and when I burp some food will come back out.
I have had same thing couple years but mine is more of light gag.. begin of meal or worse at end of meal. I went to gasterolgist and in day surgury he adjusted opening in esopgus.. It lasted over year andnow is back.. So without my insurance the med is PREVACID but is very expensive..About 5 a pill but works wonders.. I buy just few at time. Dont let this go to long and beaware you can choke. I eat very carefully till I see how I will do. I had bad times in public...so I know what you mean,, Also COSCO sells it slightly cheaper and youDO NOT need a membership to go into Costco, for pharmacy, and my Dr was kind enough to give me some sampels. But Dr will want to check you Im sure first. I also have a little bure , take Zantac xtra Good Luck mamatx55
