I am not sick but i am getting thin.can someone please tell me why?!

How old are you?
Could it just be a "growth spurt"?
Where your body suddenly gets taller and if you're not taking in more calories, you wouldn't also get wider.
How much weight have you lost? A trip to the doctor may be necessary just to make sure everything is OK.

ADDED: Since you're a student, is it possible you've just been busy and more active and haven't noticed that you're eating less and/or working off more calories?
If you're feeling well and the weight loss isn't drastic, there's probably nothing to worry about. If you notice bruising or cuts that don't heal well or any other unexplained injuries, I'd call my doctor.
