you should never try to cut a capsule in half. there is no way to tell exactly how much is half unless you physically can count the tiny beads in the capsule. you need to take the whold capsule for the full affect of the medication as prescribed,otherwise it may not be the proper amount in your blood stream to take care of the infection.
