The at home urine test kits work great. You can buy them at Walgreens or Rite-Aid. I wouldn't trust the saliva tests because I smoked pot and passed a saliva drug test the next day.

Most tests you get from the store are all pretty much standard.
Keep in mind pot can stay in your system from anywhere from 2 to 30 days depending on how much she smokes . Also from my understanding there are many ways to clean it out of your system so it goes undetected

For your purposes, just some positive/negative test strips will do the job. To monitor decreasing levels will require lab tests and the attendant costs. So go with the indicator strip initially and then consider lab if you have suspicions or you are not getting a negative test after 30 days...

in all honesty you'll just drive her to do it more. try reasoning with her if this fails not much else will have an affect on her while she's in this frame of mind . i know it's not what u want to hear but just try to understand why she's smoking is it her friends influence maybe her boyfriends or maybe she's just curious no matter what the reason just be there for her i dont mean support her habit financialy or anything but just try to trust her . if you do she'll look back one day and the guilt will catch up

I don't believe in drug testing children.
If your child is out of control and not communicating with you, take steps to improve your relationship.
Get counseling together to work on your problems.
Spend more time with her and moniter her activities.
Get her involved in an activity to build self esteem. ( martial arts, yoga, music lessons, archery, dance)
Build trust and encourage her.
Good Luck.
