First of all, you cant help it when you get horny and turned on. One way you could find out if he's as excited as you are is to notice how he acts. If he is all quiet and kind of "letting" you grind on him, or if he has that look that says "should i tell her to get off?" then he's probably not enjoying it.
If he's on you too, like as you said you like to get on his lap, if he's holding your hips, or giving you facial expressions that make it look like hes trying to say "girl, lets get it on" then he's probably as horny as you are.
Personally, if you were my girl and you were all up on me, i would be all up on you too. But not all people are like that, hehe.
