About Flouride in Water?!
Question: There is a lot of talk about Flouride being added to water supplies in various areas...
When I buy toothpaste for my toddler, I buy the baby formula which is 'LOW in flouride'. (as most baby toothpastes are)
So I am thinking that it may not be good to give babies too much flouride...
What will happen when they start drinking it in the water? Will it have a negative affect on their health?
Just curious as why the toothpaste is specially formulated with low flouride.

All the test currently done on the effects of flouride in drinking water have come back showing many benefits and no downfalls.
I'm not sure if your from Aus or not but i know theres alot of discussion about it here because the government wants to do it.
I know its currently being tested here in Australia in Townsville. They have been doing it for years and of yet there has been no side effects.

the fluoride in municipal water systems is put there to promote oral health. it would take a lifetime to drink enough to make u sick. fluoride is one of the most deadly elements in the world at full strength. but once it is dilluted it is safe. as long as u trust the source than dont worry.
