Strained muscle in thigh?!

Question: At least, I think it's a strained muscle. It feels like it's pulling when I'm trying to bend or squat. I have to do a sit spin when I'm figure skating on Friday, and I was wondering what the quickest solution was to getting rid of a strained muscle in the thigh.

Give it time to rest! Also, you can help it by doing small and minimal stretches, and rubbing the affected area of your thigh. You can use heat pads which may release the trapped muscle, or if not that - go and ask your GP/doctor. You may not have strained a muscle, but caught a nerve in your thigh from strenuous activity, and if you have it should heal by itself if you rest it. I think you may be best though to rest for a while!! Good luck

do long stretches and then rub it deeply to try to break it up
