What can I do?!?!?!


Question: I have been sick with a cold and headache for the past 3 days and I feel very weak. I am going back to school tomorrow, but I feel too weak to even walk for more than a minute or so. What can I do to feel more energized? Take a certain vitamin? Something? Anything, thanks.

You should take some anithistaminics and Vit C to heal up. Bedrest and fluids -lots of it are very good treatment for colds. Drink a lot of warm soups to relieve the sinus congestion. Keep warm. However, if you still feel rotten and weak, you should miss school altogether. Try to spend long hrs of resting in bed. The common colds should be over in a week in no time without any complications. However, if it's the flu as you are feeling weak; it might take up to 2 weeks.

It sounds more serious than a cold. I've never had a cold that made me feel weak or that made walking difficult. You may have the flu.

Stay home, keep warm, drink lots of fluids, and don't forget to eat food. Taking zinc every 2 hrs will help. When you are sick your immune system is weakened and if you go back to school and someone else is there sick you could easily pick up the new germ. Besides you are exposing all those around you when you have a bug

Take a hot shower or bath it has been shown that heat boosts ur immune system,drink lots of fluids to get rid of whatever is ailing u quickly make urself some chicken soup and make sure to add garlic and some green vegetable to it. garlic has antiviral properties, something over the counter for ur headache and tae with honey and lemon , orange juice , vitamin c and get as much sleep as u can ,rest and sleep helps the body to repair itself. good luck feel better.
