Natural Remedy (can be found at a health food store)

Dandelion Tea
No salt
Lots of water

u might be pregnant

no.

You mean retaining fluid? I know for me if my blood pressure is high, I'm like that. Your doctor can prescribe medication but the biggest thing, watch your sodium intake.

My doctor has prescribed diuretics for me.

Drink lots of fluids......especially water. The reason your body retains the fluid you give it is because you are not giving it enough so it thinks a drought is possible and is saving for the future.

Yes. I had the same problem. Water retention is caused when u have little amount of water in you system. your body is made up of 70% water and it is expected that a person drinks at least 8 glasses of water a day.
So it means since your body does not have enough water, it has been retaining water so much that it is aftecting you. For some people, its a bloated belly, for others it is their feet.

So please please and I cannot emphasize the fact that you should drink LOTS LOTS AND LOTS of water. When you start drinking water, you will be going to the washroom almost every minute but don't worry it is normal. Your body is just getting use to the new routine and passing out the water that was retained

I'm curous... did you ask your doctor that question? He or she is the person who really should be giving you recommendations on what to do. I say this because there are lots of reasons why someone could have swollen feet & there is no good way to answer your question w/o knowing more information. For instance, if you are late in a pregnancy, swollen feet are pretty normal & there is not a whole lot that can be done about it. On the other hand, swollen feet can be one sign of a serious health problem. In general, a low salt diet, & elevating your legs are good things to do. Your doctor may want to prescribe a diuretic (water pill). I would recommend that you not take any of the answers you get here too seriously - we just don't have enough information to advise you - and call your doctor & ask him or her that question.

Adding after your last comments... I don't know enough about herbals to comment, but I would encourage you to talk w/ your doctor about the side effects. Perhaps he or she can try you on a different med. If the "side effect" is that it makes you pee all the time, thought, that isn't a side effect. That's how you get rid of the excess fluid. It isn't a fast fix, but losing weight will be extremely helpful to you in terms of your swollen feet.

Only about 15 million people have water retention the same as you. HOWEVER the bleeding in both the mouth and rectum put you in a whole different category. Flashing red lights

You may be suffering a side effect from a drug, especially if you eat food with high sodium count.

While they can prescribe drugs to help you lose that water, that's a short term solution to a possibly not long term problem (maybe).

I could have given you a much better answer if you had given me sex(M/F), age, height and weight. I will give you heavy odds (10-1) that you are female.
