Question: I have been placing warm compresses on my eye and I used some homeopathic drops. I've only had it for 2 days, should I go see an opthamologist?

You need Stye Sterile Lubricant Eye Ointment ,that will get rid of it. The package says to call 1800-952-5080 Del pharmaceuticals. Uniondale NY.

Warm MOIST heat, as often as possible

Have a hippy happy, tippy tappy Tuesday (;

You can buy over the counter medicine that will clear it up.

go see the doctor, they may have to drain it

Time! They suck I know I have had them a few times and it always takes a few days to a week to go away.

If you have a gold band (wedding ring will do), rub gently on the stye itself. Something in the gold that helps.

give it a week the see a doc.answer above is great!

You can try the warm compresses, but you may have to have it excised, and that hurts like hell. However, you are lucky it is not a chalazion, they are even worse.

I place a warm wet tea bag over my eye. It really helps. The tannin in the tea helps reduce the swelling.

Hope you feel better soon!

I get Sty's at least once a month... Most annoying things EVER! But I find that the only thing that really helps me is to use the warm compress, like you have, and also don't wear any eye makeup... It will only make them last longer!

No need to go in to the doc, it will go away! I have gone twice, and they have both told me the same thing... Don't rub, use warm compresses, and keep it clean. It will clear up by itself!

If it is on the right eye pinch the web between the 2nd and 3rd finger on the right hand,if on the left eye do the same on the left hand. When the pain in your hand stops your eye will heal. No, I am not crazy this is a pressure point for quick healing.

God bless,
Betty
