No, waste of money - they are just high-priced vitamin supplements, no different from what you can buy in health food stores or supermarkets. She would be better off consulting her doctor or a good dietician to make some changes that might benefit her. One thing that is quite good are the simple probiotic drinks that you can buy in the supermarket, or eating probiotic yogurt.
I have this irritable bowel for over 25 years during which I have used every described and not described medicine. All of them were nothing but a loss of money. The only comfortable and cheap medicine is to avoid having irritating food substances especially fibrous , spices and avoid stress. drugs like Librax are used in severe attacks.
