What are the worst stages of quitting smoking please?!


Question: I'm on day three, feeling like I have excess energy and could easily run a thousand miles just to sort of get rid of the niggling feeling to smoke.. So when does it actually get easier?

the hardest part of quitting is admitting to yourself that you need to and are going to. i applaud you for doing so. as far as it getting easier it will gradually do that over time. your body thinks it needs the nicotine and for a while it will seem worse and worse beacause its like youve been without watter and slowly your getting thirstier and thirstier so it will get worse, hten will peak, and finally your body will slowly realize that it can live withou nicotin. whenever you have the urge to smoke, try a sucker or gum. if tricks you body into satisfaction of giving into a craving. good luck!

Hardest step is the first step ... wanting to change.
