Bad eye vision? ):?!

Question: When the credits scroll down at the end of a movie, and I close my left eye, I kinda see double of that word (Or letter. Whatever.) Like, for example: The word STAR is in white, on a black backround, at the credits of a movie. I see a bit of an S, above the actual S. I see a bit of a T, above the actual T. I dunno what this is called. ): Double vision? I dunno. I really don't want glass. So, my question is: Why is this happening, how do I improve my vision (Maybe without glasses?), and what would this be called? Thanks. :)

Hello,

This is called MONOCULAR DIPLOPIA.

It is associated with an erratic surface on the cornea, often associated with LASIK or other corrective lenses treatments.

It is also common for people who have dry eyes. Watching a movie can cause the eyes to strain and dry (astigmatism will put a strain which causes tired dry eyes)

Get yourself a good set of eye drops without preservatives, like BION true tears. use them whenever you feel your eyes getting dry or tired. You will find that these artificial tears will help cure the double visions because of the surface tension it allows a central focal point for light entering the eye.

You should get check for glaucoma, as this can cause internal corneal adjustments which may manifest themselves as a double image.

Why do I know? I got Lasik surgery and on a bad day I can see 4 of everything I have biocular monocular diplopia :)

go to the doctor, and if u don't want glasses, u can get contacts

You need glasses or contacts. Don't worry, you get used to them. I wear glasses.

Go to the eye doctor and get your vision tested. The doctor will advise you as to your options once you have been diagnosed.

Eat Carrots! No kidding there are eye exercises you can do. http://www.rebuildyourvision.com/try_an_...

maybe contact lenses

You need something, glasses or contacts. It's called getting old.

i dont really know but i think it might be because u stare at it,i think its common but should contact a eye specialist just incase

That symptom is part of a few diagnoses. The thing is, that in addition to that symptom there are other things a doctor looks for. So a doctor can make the proper diagnosis. We can guess however.

I have the same issue.. i went to my eye dr. and he said i have an astigmatism and he told me i need to get glasses, contacts or laser surgery to fix it! You should check with your eye doctor though and see what he says!

Hmm, I have glasses too, what's wrong about glasses? I think the only thing there is to do is get glasses OR contacts. Don't worry everyone gets bad vision some time in their life before they go!

Don't be afraid to see the eye Dr., they have many remedies now that don't include glasses, theirs contacts and lazer now, your eyes are everything, please go and have them checked.

lazy eye probably since its only one of your eyes, fixing it by wearing a patch on your right eye, lol. or it might be temporary from fautige or lack of sleep, but im not a doctor

p.s go see a doctor :)

First, you have to see an eye doctor. If the doctor said that you need glasses or something-and i know you don't want glasses-try wearing contact lenses. If you don't want to, try limiting your time on the computer, watching tv, etc. It's best to start doing this after you notice you need glasses or such. That way, your eyesight will be reduced and your eyesight will be back to normal.
=)

Eat carrots and close your eyes and roll them around in different directions and side to side for like 3 minutes straight. Also, you could have an astigmatism. Just go to the doc and get contact lenses. Yours will cost a little more since they will be prescription lenses. But hey, it's better than running over a kid or something
