Usually, if people can't sleep, worrying about not sleeping causes (more than anything) 90% of problems.

Here's the thing: If you lay in bed, completely relaxing mentally and physically, you will get 80 -- 90% of the benefit of deep sleep.

So the crucial thing is not to worry about if you fall asleep or not.

Just go through the motions, put out the lights, get totally comfortable as if you totally expect to fall asleep.

Then absolutely don't mind, absolutely don't care if you fall asleep or not. That does give you the best chance of falling asleep without clouding your mind with any over-the-counter drugs for example.

I'm guessing you want a very clear mind for tommorow.

But if you just lay there comfortably and don't worry at all,
(whether you fall asleep or not)
your mind and body will relax
and you'll get 90% of the value
you'd get from sleep.

So tommorow you'll be fine either way.

go smoke some indica.....help u sleep like a baby

you can go to the store and buy tylenol PM....the only thing is you need to be able to devote 8 hours to sleep tonite.

or.....

you can take 2 aspirin.........aspirin always helps me sleep.

If I need to go to bed early, I do alot of physical activity through the day (so I'm tired at night) especially outside, because fresh air works... avoid doind anything major after 7ish at night, take a bath, and hopefully you'll fall asleep with no problem.

Everyone has sleep problems at times and it always seems to happen on the nights when we really need the sleep. But don't worry! Here's a list of things that you can do to fall asleep on time:
1.) Don't drink any caffinated beverages after six. The caffine will keep you awake.
2.) Don't do anything that will get your brain thinking like watching T.V. or talking on the phone. These activities stimulate your brain and keep you awake.
3.) Turn the lights down. Don't keep the lights on above 60 watts. Lights signal to your brain that it's time to wake up so if you can dim them, do it.
4.) Cool Down. Keep your house (if not your room) under 64 degrees. The drop in temperature will make your body wind down and causes it to go into a hyperthermic state (without the danger of you dying or going unconscous).
5.) Some people put socks on their feet to go to sleep. Supposedly, the warmth on your feet make you sleepy. Also, some people drink warm milk to make them sleepy. Personally, this might make you sick on your stomach but it's worth a try...

If you need any more help, try buying the Febuary issure of ALLURE magazine. It should be out by now.

I Hope That Helps! Good Night and Sleep Tight! Oh, and good luck on your interview tomorrow!!! I hope you get the job!
