Yes...I was on a sulfur based medicine.

Initially...yes, it was very daunting. However, I've learned to watch what I eat and drink. Occasionally, I have flare-ups and I've learned to avoid foods that I am sensitive to. Initially that list was long of foods to avoid was long...and it should be while you heal. After many years you might be able to re-integrate some of those foods, and narrow down those lists. If it bothers you, don't eat it!

I haven't need meds for 15 years...but each person is different!! I recommend you do some online reading. These days, there are many resources on the WWW on the subject.

I am not, but I am familiar with it. I have problems in my digestive track, too, but the medicines I take have a "dizzying" side-effect that I don't like.

I recommend that you keep asking your Internal Medicine Doctor (who you need to see, if you haven't) questions - until you get the answer.

..and keep asking others, as a cross-reference - Just like you did, here.

Good Luck - Jeff
