Weird feeling, possible interaction of anti-depressants/alcohol, any ideas?!

Question: First of all I am on two medicines Zoloft (25 mg) and Wellbutrin (100 mg)

Here's the story: Friday night I consumed about 15 beers, more than I ever have. I didn't feel nauseous or anything, but I got locked out of my room that night and didn't sleep. I also missed my doses of medicine for that day (Friday), and didn't take them until Saturday night. Since then I have not consumed any alcohol and have slept at least 7 hours every night, but I continue to feel incredibly spaced out with a sort of "out of body" sensation.

Do you think this is caused by the interaction of the medicine and the alcohol, just the alcohol itself, or the fact that I missed a dose? When do you think the effects will subside, or what can I do to reduce them?

Thank you so much.

I'm not a doctor, so please don't take this as medical advice, but sounds to me like it's more an interaction of a hangover and lack of sleep. I would drink a lot of water, and some Gatorade, or at least put a small pinch of salt in your water. Then get a good night of sleep. If you are feeling that weird though, call your pharmacy or doctor. Also, how long ago did you start taking the antidepressants? If it wasn't that long ago, it could easily just be that they are finally reaching "medicinal level" in your body.

never mix that much alcohol with that kind of meds..U trying to killl yourself....U R having a reaction from alcohol and the meds..and the fact U were without them for awhile..it should go away soon........anti-depressants and alcohol are the same type of reactions..I was on them for years...till i started talking to myself and got paranoid and almost killed myself..
