Do you think doctors misdiagnose A.D.D on a regular basis?!

Question: i'm concerned with the fact that this can be diagnosed in the first place.....some of the symptons i can relate to on a daily basis.....but stress can be the culprit for a lot of them....don't tell me that kids can not feel stress....
too many things are in the enviroment in many ways that are 'man made' and considered not harmful....
umm, the pile under the rug seems to get bigger each day...

Hahaha ! That for sure and they confuse "depression and stupidity" !!!

yes they did for me i am not completely but it just helps so they gave it to me. if thats what you mean. im not quite sure tho.

Yes......seems everyone has that now...what is with that...I have my own disorder....B.L.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... I think you will figure this out! LOL!!!!

Yup. }:>

Diagnosis de jour.

Well, if someone goes to the doctor and the doctor can't stay focused on what you are explaining to them without checking a cell phone, writing stuff down, nodding and saying "Mmmhmmmm" and other odd things...along with clowning around with other works...doesn't that make the doctor A.D.D. too?? Seeing as how they can't seem to stay still for very long.

Yes and also Autism.

yes i do, these days any kid person oes in with a behavior or temper issue and right away they say ADD! i think it's all mostly a bunch of bull. never heard of that years ago, you dealt with you sassy kids not pill them all up and make em zombies!

I think A.D.D. covers a wide range of disorders as does autism. Both are of epidemic proportions.

Yes. We have a family member who has obviously had ADHD for a long time. We hoped he would outgrow it and eventually we knew that meds would be necessary. The first psychiatrist we took him to diagnosed him as "bipolar". This is not someone who has any "ups" and "down" or is normally depressed. I am sure the wrong diagnosis was due to his mother inserting herself into the situation, trying to persuade this psychiatrist that he had some illness he did not have.

YES--My son went completely thru school until he was 16 before they found it.

Yes and I can prove it, come to where I live and I can show you how devastating it can be,lol.

Well, if they can give a woman viagra for depression --shoot yeah!!

i don't think it, i no @''
