Headache for a day and half?!
Question: got up yesterday had a headache took two panadol went to work, the headache was there all day even when i got home. this morning go up headache still there pain down the left side of my face should i go to docs or keep taking the tabs

i have this every month with my period i have a headache for about 3 days its a dull one just there all the time over my right eye and whatever i take doesnt do much. i usually go for a couple of doses of really strong painkiller, ive tried everything even prescription medicine and found paramol which is an over the counter painkiller the best. having said that however if this is something unusual for u then u should get it checked by the doctor, also they could maybe prescribe something stronger for u.
id go see your gp, to be on the safe side, but it could be nothing, so dont threat.
Just from a good Samaritan standpoint with no medical background, but 25 years of experience of being alive. I would say keep taking something for the pain, and give about one more day. It's never common to have a three day headache, but most things last for 2-3days, and then go away. I would say if you don't feel better after the weekend, go see the DOC! GL!

You need to think how old you are, male or female etc. first. I have continual headaches - i mean all the time varying in severity. Try seeing if you are anaemic, this can effect your headaches apparently.
you might be dehydrated or have low blood sugar. Try drinking lots of water and maybe having a candy bar. that should help. you might also want to see a chiropractor, sometimes your spine can pinch the nervous system by your neck causing headaches. If you get adjusted it will relieve the pressure and hopefully get rid of the headache. Hope this helps.
