I was sexually abused from 5-8 yrs old. I just this year got into therapy. I'm now 35. It changed my life in more ways than I ever thought. I now have major depressive disorder, borderline personality disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder. This all stems from that period in my life. Now I'm learning "That which does not kill me, makes me stronger"

Having kids........I've matured and totally changed from how I was a few years ago...........

It's the best!!

Learning how to use the spell checker.

getting pregnant at age 16 and staying with a jerk that beat me and my kids for 3 years.

that is so sweet of you!!!!
what has changed my life is finding God again after 30 yrs of extrangement!!

I'm officially a senior citizen and have had many life changing experiences. I too had a special teacher in high school who encouraged me and enabled me to go to college. This was life changing as it set me on the path to a professional career. Other events were having children, developing complicated and chronic medical conditions, and simply growing older and having many life experiences. You are apparently a young person. Congratulations on meeting your teacher and her apparent faith in you. You will have many more experiences as you age, and many will set you life off in different directions. What a grand opportunity. Good luck.

A major hemorrhoidectomy.

Seriously! It was a 3-hour operation (yea, I had 'em REAL bad). Aside from nothing ever embarrassing me anymore (after all, what could possibly embarrass me more than that?), the pain was so great that I turned back to the Bible and renewed my faith in Jesus.

There's a reason for everything, I suppose!

I had cervical cancer 14 years ago and it certainly changes how you perceive the value of each day.

The biggest change I have ever gone through in my life was when I became a parent. It is a bigger change than even getting married. When you become a parent the whole focus of your life changes to someone other than yourself. Realizing that this new little person totally depends on you for everything is both a wonderful and scary experience. If you are ready for it, parenthood will make you into a much better person.

Having my daughter changed my life for the better.

my amazing partner.. after an abusive relationship i never thought i would find someone remotely nice..in fact i didnt think i deserved it. he is too nce either-he'll tell me if i have done something stupid which is good.
anyway i truly hope everyone finds such a great match

I spent the night in jail 10 years ago. It scared me to a point that I decided never to drink ever again.

it sounds cliche' but having my boyfriend in my life changed my life.

he has turned my life around.

i stopped using drugs. stopped disrespecting myself. stopped making choices that usually have bad consequences. stopped involving myself with the wrong people.

i learned how to be faithful. learned the importance of family. learned how not to be selfish...and so many more good things.

he basically saved my life. and now it's changed forever.
