Why's "doggie style" sometimes called "Greek style"?!


Question: Just wondering what's particularly Greek about that. As far as I know every culture does it that way.

Doggie is vaginal penetration
Greek sex is anal penetration

French, oral sex on the penis (fellatio)

    They are not the same as another poster has pointed out.

    However, in ancient Greece while in battle since there were no woman around the men were encouraged to resort to homosexual activity to ease their frustration. With the mistaken notion that if they were satified sexually they would fight better in battle.
