Cheaper medication?!
Question: I'm a college student. Already forked up $70 I didn't have to visit a clinic. Then she prescribes me an antibiotic. When I went to get it this morning at Walgreens they said it was another $75 (which I don't have) for the generic Amoxicillin. Is there a cheaper place or way to get the antibiotic I need? Thank you.

Generic Amox doesn't and shouldn't cost $75.
Costco (is there one nearby?)-generic Amox x 10 days supply (30) is less than $10. See link http://www.costco.com/Pharmacy/frameset....
The other person's sugguestion is correct, as well.
Furthermore, I'd advise you to sign up with your school's health plan. Does it not have a student health clinic? We sell Amox to our students at cost (less than $5).
Go to walmart and sign up for there new program. 4 dollar presciptions. Generic amoxicillin should not cost that much in the first place, 20 at the most. Sounds like you should change pharmacies anyway!
Meijer gave me Amoxicillin for free.
Amazingly, they do give some antibiotics for free.
Target and Wal-Mart offer a $4 generic program. I believe this prescription is on both programs.

When Dr prescribed you that medicine.... dnt look for a cheaper place or price.... coz if ur problem further increases... then u can't afford those many dollars. so better ask your parents or your frens to give you 5 dollars and buy that medicine ...tell ur frens tat u will return those dollars with in few days.....
