Question: My mom doesn't think I'm old enough 4 tampons, but I am a competitive dancer and cannot wear underwear under my tights and costumes for competitions. What should I do?

If you're old enough to have your period than you're old enough for tampons.
sit down and have a talk with your mother, if necessary talk to your doctor and he/she can explain to your mother that tampons are safe.
im a competitive dancer 2 and i had my period last weekend 4 my competition but witht eh costumes i had i was able to wear pads (i hate tampons) i have worn tamponds before and that is the only thing to do. Trybexplainign this to your mom. or may be a very thin pad.
if u need tampons then keep anoyying your mum to get you some. keep telling her and she will give in eventually. lol :)
I don't see how you have to be "old enough" for tampons. It's just a feminine product and you have a feminine situation. Yours is the perfect example of why you should wear one. If all else fails, just buy them yourself. Or you can fill out a survey on Always.com and they send you tons of free samples.
Go buy some and hide them from your mom. Don't machines in ladies rooms sell individual crammers? You could also ask a fried for one.
Just explain to your mom that you can't wear a pad with your costumes, and what does she expect you to do? Or, save your money and go buy some yourself.

2=if dancing is ur passion then tell her its really important to you that u wanna keep on doing without the discomfort of the pad in ur tights trust me i know how it feels like
3=but really thing pads or those little ones that people use!!! i do that and if u are dorpping like alot of blood den put two little ones on top of each other and wuill do it !! but remeber it has to be with small and thin,,thin!!!
