Anxiety attacks and crying?!

Question: Sometimes when i have a panic attack tears just start coming out, i mean i dont even try to cry though, they just start comin' down. Do i need to see a doctor? Somehow I seem to hold back the episode until i get outside and then i start breathing fast and crying and my face and hands get tingly.

I've seen Klonopin work very well for panic attacks. Xanax, which I've taken myself, has been good for mood supression and even a decent sleeping pill (when you feel you're crawling out of your skin). If your young or don't have a doctor see your guidance councelor at school to recommend a good psychiatrist. (no they're really not a shrink).

see your doctor asap

Yes- go and ask for something to help stablize your moods. Maybe you have general anxiety disorder.

you could try seeing a doctor, they didnt help much for me, there are also things you can do to calm anxiety attacks down, eating right and exercise are essencial to mood health, also before the trigger happens try getting yourself out of the situation

Yes you should see your doctor but don't let them prescribe anything that will put you out of your misery all day. You don't want to be like those housewives of Orange County on Zan bars all day. You want to feel calm naturally. I had a panic attack last fall and found that kava, a vitamin helps. Careful becuase if you take to much it is bad for your liver but I only take it on days that I am very busy and more likely to be stressed. Also, B complex vitamin with D helps alot and I don't know of any side effects other than your urine turns greenish yellow. Otherwise both of these things help. Try yoga or meditation and avoid stressful situations. Talk to your doctor, your anxiety may be more severe and they may have other good tips.

Yes, go to the doctor. I suffered from severe anxiety for over 7 years until I got a good doctor that gave me the right medication.

I am taking Klonopin and am anxiety free and it's wonderful to have my life back. Out of 7 different medications, this is the one that worked for me. The others, including Xanax, made it worse.

I have had a great life now for 2 years. Don't wait. Get it taken care of now. It will get worse if you don't.

I wish you all the best!!
