How do I insert my boyfriend a suppository?!

Question: he has got a flu and runs a high fever 39.3Celcius... we tried tablets, but as he is really sick, he had to vomit. Now these suppositories are our last hope, but I've never given one to somebody else and I would like to help him and do it for him as quick as possible. I want to avoid him having trouble with it and I think it's more easy for a second person to do it.
In which position should I bring him? How far should I insert it? The advice on the package isn't very useful... Please help us!

doesn't matter how exactly you have him lying down, his bottom should be little exposed thow so pulling his knees upward would be great. Otherwise you could hurt him. Take th suppository and push it in with your index finger. It doesn't feel nice, but that's all you can do when he's vomittin.

Your best bet is to re-read the directions, or have him lie on his back on the bed or couch and insert it that way. It's difficult trying to do it on someone else, but if he is that sick maybe he should see a doctor. Good luck. You could also give him a laxative instead of the suppository. It's his call.

Get a finger cot. It is like a condom, that covers one finger. Have him lay down. Spread his cheeks, and insert it until it stays in by itself.

Get him to lie on his side in bed with his knees curled up in a foetal position, insert it until it is no longer visible and a bit farther if his discomfort will allow it. Good luck.

might want to use some lubricant too.

Hey,

Ask your boyfriend to lie on his left side and try and get him to relax as much as possible (easier said than done) use lots of lubricant and slowly insert it, not too far up but you will feel how far it is as you will feel it lighter and distant from your finger which means this is satifactory enough. good luck

TO INSERT THE SUPPOSITORY HE SHOULD LAY ON HIS SIDE AND DRAW HIS KNEES UP. YOU GLOVE UP AND PLACE A BIT OF VASELINE OR SOMETHING ON THE SUPPOSITORY TELL HIM TO RELAX AND INSERT INTO RECTUM AS FAR AS YOU CAN. YOUR BOYFRIEND SHOULD THEN TRY AND PULL IT IN FURTHER AS IF HOLDING BACK A CRAP (EXCUSE THE EXPRESSION)

have him lie on his back because then he can't tense up his bottom and it won't hurt. Then unwrap the suppository and pull his pants down a little bit. Then look for his "opening" and insert the suppository carefully and quickly. Push your finger as far in as you can feel the suppository. At one point, it will disappear, then you take your finger out. Sounds strange, but if you don't do it, you might have the suppository pop out in the next moment. Then take his legs down and have him lie on his back as this keeps his "opening" closed ;-) good luck!
