I have lots of gashes and cuts in my tongue... anyone know why?!
Question: when i look at my tongue its loaded with gashes, cuts, lines in it. I dont think it causes a problem but if i have to much of one thing like orange jelly or baked beans, it causes ones on the side to ache...
I have an underbite and a lisp do you think this effects it by my biting it alot or something?
Will it ever heal up?

If your toungue looks almost like a geographic map it can be geographic toungue. It's not curable and nothing infectious but if you have a lot of...say slasa, or acidy stuff it can get worse and make the marks more noticable and make them hurt. There are 3 other toungue "diseases" but what you described sound more like geographic toungue.
