What excercise can I learn or do to get rid of fear from inside me?!


Question: what can i start doing to get rid of the fear i have inside of me..... for some reason when i start feelin threatend from someone ... my heart starts beatin fast . my eyes get blurry and teary, i start stutterin ... awkward head movements .. how can i stop this from happening ....... i konw this is the response a person gets when threatened ... but how can i stop this ...

i was thinkin of signin up for boxing ....or kickboxing ...

I think you need an anti-anxiety drug. You sound like you may have post traumatic stress disorder. Mention this to your doctor. f you were traumatized by someone or something before in the past, these feelings can come back up as a natural reaction to someone yelling or doing something that scares you. You can start to feel like you can't think and start to sweat and or cry and just freak out. You need to take some anti-anxiety medication for this. And a hobby never hurts, especially a physical one-because exercise make endorphins and endorphins make you happy and when you are a part of a group and learn something new and excel at it, you boost your soul from inside out and it will show:) Good luck to you:)

You either have panic disorder, or you have agrophobia.

This needs prompt attension by phychologists as this can lead to people locking them selves away.

Yoga and pilates. Great for your body, mind, and spirit

Deep breathing. Honestly. If you use your diaphragm properly, it will calm your body and your mind.

You might check into biofeedback, cognitive behavioral therapy and/or an anti-anxiety med. Sounds like you are suffering from panic attacks.

Taking lessons in kickboxing would be a great way to deplete your fear. Also, carry a knife, and a pistol. Because kickboxing won't do you any good if the person threatening you has a weapon. If they have a knife, pull out your knife. If they have a pistol, pull out your pistol. If they don't have any weapons, pull out your kickboxing skills. Either way, things will always be equal, and this equality depletes fear.

I don't think anything but medication will help. An antidepressant will stop your mind from racing. It will give you some peace of mind and help stop the worrying.
