Please help! I need some answers on a bad dry cough.?!
Question: I'm taking antibiotics for a sinus infection of which I've had since Sunday. (Most of my sinus infection has cleared up, and when I blow my nose, it's clear) Around Tuesday I developed a cough, and there was some stuff coming up but not too much, it lasted about a day. I've been drinking about a gallon of water a day and taking Mucinex. Now I have a horrible dry cough, and my chest feels a little bit heavy, not real heavy but theres def a little pressure. Does this mean that my lungs are still full? I really don't see how It could be, and i'm really hoping that isn't. Can any one help me out with this?
I just need to be sure that my lungs aren't full of flem?
Today is the 7th day i've been taking antibiotics and drinking about a gallon of water a day. Plus, Mucinex.
Should I have already gotten out most of the flem in my chest, or does having a dry cough mean it's still in there?

Get a chest xray and someone (good) to listen to your chest.
DO YOU REALLY EXPECT SOMEONE TO BELIEVE YOU. NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD HAVE SUCH A PROBLEM AND NOT SEE A DOCTOR..
