Medical operation?!
Question: Hi everyone, I got out of hospital yesterday after having an operation on my stomach but i'm a little scared of washing around my insistion, I have got about 12 disolvable stitches but I really need to wash . the hospital said to just sink wash for a few days bu what about around the cut?
Any help??

I hope you're feeling better soon! As long as you aren't too rough, you can wash around the incision. Just use a soft cloth with water that isn't too hot, and a mild soap. Then dry it gently with a soft towel but don't rub on it. You should be fine.

been there..done that.. just use the baby wipes for now and dont get the incision wet....and dont scrub..just a gentle wipe.. happy recovery....

well i suggest if you are allowed to have a bath use a salt bath by adding salt and soak there for a while add no soap or bubblebath but if you are not allowed bath such has a salt one use dettol and bathe the wound with that
