Oh, you poor thing....being home sick is no fun!

Tea will do wonders for your throat. drink lots and lots of tea. lemon tea with honey in it...or if you can, I think grocery stores carry something called "coat-throat tea". It will coat your throat and soothe it. good stuff!

lots of vitamin C...oranges, orange juice, etc...that will help fight the bugs!

Theres nothing like curling up with a good book to keep you busy....or if you can lay yourself in a room with a Television, get someone to rent some movies for you, and have a lazy movie day! But make sure you are constantly drinking. Juice, water, tea...you want to flush everything out!

My dad used to tell me when I was sick that I had to drink so much that I peed clear :)

As for food...How is your stomache feeling? If you feel up to eating, eat whatever you want...if you're still queasy...eat mild foods like bananas, rice, rice crispies, etc...

And popsicles and ice cream should feel really good on your throat!

I hope you feel better soon! :)

oranges would be good they have a lot of vitamin c. Stay away from sweets. Lots of protein

Hot drinks, coughing is worse if you drink something cold as it vasoconstricts. I would suggest anything hot including soup and tea. Water is great and so is Vitamin C!
