My doctor says my potassium is low...what does this mean..and what symptoms does!

Question: Potassium & sodium work together. Potassium is an electrolyte & with other electrolytes keep your electrical system working well (your heart & blood pumping regularly, maintains healthy blood pressure; relaxes muscles.

Most often it causes cramps in your legs. Maybe dizziness if it's really low.

Eat 2 bananas a day for 1 week; then 1/day. They're high in potassium. I forget the other foods high in potassium.

As far as i know mostly woman who gives birth to a kid, afterwards faces this issue. And eating one banana a day wouldn't hurt anybody i guess, because bananas are a good source of potassium. But before you do anything, ask your doctor about a medical cure... Maybe it's a sign of some other illness...

It means that your potassium is low. You need to eat some banannas that are very high in potassiumor if you dont like banannas look online to find other food that has a lot of potassium. If you ignore this and it gets dangerousily low its hard to explain but you can also have an episode that causes you to pass out. Trust me its not worth going to the emergency room (it has happened to me).
