Any explanation of why my immune system system is weak, but quick to heal and re!

Question: The odd thing about my immune system is that it's rather weak, and I get sick on average of once a week. However, I get back in health usually within a day and half to three days max, including with major illnesses. Except once that I had a meningitis viral infection, that was an odd one. That one lasted a grand total of 3 weeks, because it went untreated, until it was excruciatingly painful and I went to the doctor for about 2 and half days.

Anyways, to the point, I was wondering, could anyone please help me with a legitimate opinion, guess, answer, etc? Also, I have to add; I do know how the immune system works with the whole white blood cells thing and everything. So I'm pretty sure I have a low count of white blood cells, but I don't get how the heck I get well so quickly, with a variety of sicknesses... Please help?

Ak, sorry, another thing is that I've taken account hygiene and showering/bathing, and I've tried a range of temperatures, procedures, and in/outdoor things.

Sounds like your B cells are weak but your T cells are strong.
B cells are suppose to catch what comes in through your mouth, nose, eyes and ears. Hence the tickle or ache in those areas that you get as first symptom of getting sick.
T cells are like Pac Men and gobble up bad cells. Read about boosting your B cells. Cats claw herb and silver biotics from health stores can help. Stay away from sugars and caffeine. Next Drs visit request a pH test. Usually pee on a strip. This tells you if your body is alkaline or acidic. Immune systems are more suppressed with more acidic bodies. (bad bacteria thrive and good ones die). Google pH therapy and foods to increase pH to become more alkaline. I will tell you that sugar and caffeine are major culprits plus they strip away many nutrients you need for recovery esp. B vitamins. That's why the powder EmergenC drink mixes have Bs with the C. AIDS or autoimmune deficiency syndrome is the opposite, lacking Ts but not necessarily Bs.
Good luck!

First off, what makes you think your immune system is weak? You could just be exposed to a lot of things. Better question - what makes you think that you get sick once a week?

There are two types of white blood cells, and they are only a small part of what is the largest system in your body (your immune system)

If your immune system was weak, you wouldn't recover from illness very quickly, because macrophages are dispersed when your white blood cells send out a "distress call"

You might want to limit your exposure to children, or to college students - both are walking and talking petri dishes of illness.

True this does not mean your immune system is weak, just that you are being exposed to illnesses you have not built up an immunity to. The biggest part of staying healthy is washing your hands in hot water with soap for at least 30 seconds then not to be touching every door handle between point a and point b. If you are getting well fast that would actually show that you have a healthy immune system otherwise you would remain ill for much longer periods.

i see so many of these types of questions on here. dont any of you people have the sense to see a doctor??? well...do it now.
