I want to be buried in a cardboard coffin at a "green" cemetery. There is one near us at a place called Lilbourne. This is my wish for my body when I`m dead. Take any organs, I`m an organ donor, have been since 1983.

harvest any organs that you wish, then you could stick what remains in a furnace or freeze dry my remains and scatter them in a woodland

i would like as many of my organs as are useful to be donated to those who need them. however if this distresses my family i wouldnt expect them to do it. apart from that its up to those left behind what they wish to do with me, though i would like to think that i could be buried or scattered somewhere beautiful, peaceful.

Sounds weird I know but i think it would be better than in a coffin and rotting. Plus family wouldnt have to go to a grave yard. Pieces of me would just be around!!!

Actually, I hope to know when my death is near so I can go away by myself and let the elements take me. I have an irrational fear of embalming (too many 20/20 and Dateline shows growing up I think lol). The idea of waking up or being aware of my autopsy haunts me. I'm not afraid of death itself but being powerless before then. I want to be SURE I'm dead.
