Why are some people against MEDICAL marijuana?!
Question: I don't believe it should ever be used for recreational uses or for minor diseases but there are people who have terrible diseases that needit. There are people who tried every traditional medication and all have failed. If the person's disease has taken over the person's life and nothing else has worked they need to try marijuana. Please note I am only for it for extreme cases.

I am with you, it may be the only way they can handle the pain or the ill effects of the medication or the type of treatments they take. I don't even smoke cigarettes but, if I had a loved one in pain that it would help, I'd be the first one to tell them to try it, if the doctor would recommend it. So what if you become addicted to it, if you need it; probably means you are slowly dieing anyway, why suffer more than necessary. There will always be some that against everything. But, those people if they were hurting, they would be the first to want it legalized.
I will never understand. These same individuals (some of them) aren't against alcohol, or presription medications, which are FAR more dangerous to the well being and health, yet are dead set against a flower that God put here, that has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt to help with many ailments, ie: cancer, pain, glaucoma, aids patients, appetite, nausea. My ex-husband was in a terrible accident recently, and after all of the traditional medications failed, he is now prescribed "Marinol", which is the pill form of marijuana., and is doing much better, physically AND Mentally.
