It's just the side effect from the glasses and contacts. Remember what those do, they magnify. The glare of the computer is bad enough, but have lense focus it, and it's much worse. Try dimming the monitor, and turning some lights on to lessen the glare. Try setting your monitor aways from your face.

Also some of the new flatscreen models have used a new shrouding technique, which keep the computer at a very bright, and decent setting, but it somehow cuts off massive amounts of glare; try looking into that.

If you ever get a headache, just lay down for a few minutes till you feel better; also it might help to have a bottle of water around when on the computer, as it'll prevent most headaches.

stop banging your head on it

Try dimming the light properties on your monitor. Make it so the screen is not so bright. Try to not to stare at the monitor for a long time and try maybe try going on the computer a little at a time. =)

get up and stretch for a couple minutes, get something to drink. you shouldn't sit on the comp for a long period of time

I have the same problem, however I have glasses instead of contacts. I just take them off. Taking contacts off every time you get on the computer might be a hassle for you, but it's the only thing I can suggest.

Good luck,

hmm get off?
good luck, yo!
:)

Pink lenses may suit you, go and see an optician, they are great at this sort of thing

That happens to me too, this is what you should do. Try to rest your eyes by looking at something far, this helps your vision get better and try to lower you computer's brightness because that may be the reason that your getting the headaches. Also try going farther away from your monitor to avoid damaging your sight.

hope this helps..

Dim the brightness of your computer. It's also pretty bad to sit at the computer for a long time. The best advice would be to go do something else for alittle while. Go out with friends and give yourself a reason to get away from it. I know it's addicting, but we probably loose 2309384 brain cells a minute ;)

You need to take breaks and see if you can soften the lighting on your monitor a bit. You are probably spending too much time on it and getting eye strain which causes headaches. Take a break, get something to eat or drink, walk around and stretch and then if you have to get back on, remember to do these things ever so often. When, it gets too bad quit.

Dont sit at the computer so long. I get the same problem

drink something hawt while on the your computor :)
it helps me like hawt chocolate !

Dim the lighting on your screen. Or how about spending less time on the computer?

Having you plm with your history? Did you went to eys doctor check up exam? You have to do this cuz you don't know what's wrong or worst.......Something serious you have your eyes visiored. Just do it check out first then see what's the eye doctor say..You will know..If you keep asking over another question and their nothing can do about it...I know what you mean..

Do NOT dim the lights or the color on the computer, thats only gonna stress your eyes more cuz u cant see the Screen. You need to invest on buying this glass screen that goes ON TOP of your monitor. Im sorry i dont know what its called but go to like best buy or radio shack. Any place that has computer/electronics available. Its this dimmed glass screen that protects your eyes. It sits on top of your actual screen, i know someone who has it and its very cool and relaxing. good luck girl!
