Zzzzz y do I need so much sleep?!


Question: Ive always had by nature the need to sleep a lot. I go to bed around 10pm and try to get up at 8am but I still feel very sleep and could sleep another hr or two. Once I slept 16 hrs in a row. I have had my thyreoid checked and nothing wrong. Is this normal?

Its a state of mind. The more you sleep the more you need sleep. Exercise and eat well soon you will be firing on all cylinders

you may have a low iron level
see your doctor.

you're probally using your mind a lot, so it needs lots of rest.

cause you lazy!

it's a number of things.

a boring lifestyle.
restless ness when you sleep.
lack of iron in your diet,
anemia.
one thing that i have found makes you real tired is central heating, and a hot bed or room. your body has to cool for it to actually rest. befor you go to sleep today, open the window a little and turn all the heating off, and you will wake up a diffrent person! (hopefully not with a diffrent person. lol who comes in through the window. lol)

if you have been suffering with this for a long time and dont live with anyone else, you could be a sleep walker, or move about a lot in night??
