DON'T do drugs! You will ruin your entire future!
Nobody wants to hire a druggy so you will most likely be working at McDonald's for the rest of your life!

My father uses Oxycontin, and he has not been able to keep a job. Mostly because the drug makes him unable to do his job, along with making him very irrational and impulsive when he is in a period of withdrawal. It has had a bad effect on the sanity of everyone else in our house, causing major anxiety for my mom and some issues (not going to go into detail) for me.

It may be fine to do them in high school or whatever, but if you get addicted, don't try to start a family, because it makes your whole family feel like crap. It will ruin your relationships. Plus, it'll completely fry the dopamine center in your brain, making it increasingly harder to feel pleasure, although that can be healed with time.

I'm not going to say you can't get a good job - because many successful men and women secretly use. My father actually had his own successful business for awhile. But so much of the money went to drugs, and his inability to think clearly made it go downhill.

Sorry this is so long! But yes, drugs ruin more than just your physical health.

If you are asking a question like that, then most likely you will not be obtaining a "good job" soon anyways.

it is horrible and can easily kill you!
a majorily of employers (real jobs --not 1st jobs like supermarket) won't hire you without drug testing

Drugs affect not just your outward appearance, they can cause high blood pressure, stomach disorders, skin diseases, rot your teeth, and affect your heart, liver, memory, or shut down your kidneys! Drugs are toxins that your kidneys and liver have to detoxify for the body so you are not poisoned!
I know a very young girl, with two young children, who was a meth and crack addict. Her kidneys shut down, and now she is on dialysis until they can find a kidney donor! She will probably not live to see her children grow up! All because she wanted to get high.
Pot is the least harmful, illegal (in most states) drug (it's used for medical purposes). It may give you lung problems if you smoke it for a long time, as any cigarette will, but it has never been proven to kill anyone from an overdose, nor has it ever been linked directly to any diseases.
Alcohol is one of the most dangerous, legal, drugs out there! More people have died in alcohol related deaths than all other illegal drugs put together. Drinking is also directly related to many health problems, like ulcers, pancreatitis, and dementia.
Most places do drug testing before they hire someone, so if you do drugs, you won't get the job if you test positive. Do yourself a favor, leave them alone, and live a healthy, long life.
