This is true because our lymphatic system only flows by muscular contractions. Your lymphatic system is the pain part of your immune system. Although you may feel a slight bit sicker immediately after, in the long run it will help you get better faster.

I have heard that also but, I think that is just if you have a cold. Otherwise, strenuous activities can actually make you sicker. Especially, you get all sweaty and go out in the cold. Always shower and change clothes and dry your hair before going out. I think it gets your blood to pumping and you aren't laying around getting depressed as far as actually helping you get over it faster, I don't think so, almost all sicknesses has a course it will run. But, if you don't feel too bad, it wouldn't hurt to try.
