If you doctor did not give you a definite answer as to what this is, I would go to another doctor immediately.
I might even consider taking stool sample to the biggest local hospital ER, I could find. A hospital assocaited with a medical school would be best.

Is it possible this is some type of food. I mean corn shows up, could it be pomergrante seed or something else you ate.

Do you have any other symptoms ? intestinal pain, pain during the BM. do you practice Anal sex ? Are you feeling tired or have a temp ?

Personally, I would be moving on this until I got a definite answer.

well one thing i heard is if u have blood in your stool u could have stomch bleeding but if u went to the doctor and they told u not worrie that eans ur ok must have been sometign u ate

try to think of EVERYTHING you ate in the last 24-48 hours. It may just be something you ate...or something you ate that absorbed the coloring from something you drank. I know it freaked me out when this happened to my kids, and that's what it was. Hope this helps....

hello
omg means oh my God.

It's not blood...blood does not appear red in your stool. It could be something you ate...unless it's reoccuring. If you have seen a doctor and they ran tests, you should stop worrying, or get a second opinion. Good luck!

Of course you get blood in your stools!

Its not bright red so that rules out piles. If your foecal occult blood test was positive that means that there has been bleeding.

Have you been constipated?

At your age it very unlikely that its something sinister, however if your not happy with your docs answer you can insist to have a colonoscopy or a flexi sig, both involve looking into the bowl with a camera to see whats going on. They are uncomfortable and you have to take laxatives before hand, but they arent painful. x
