Generally, what is the breastmilk intake curve for a 4-12 week old infant?!

Question: hard to tell how much they eat since you cannot see it. generally baby should nurse at least every 2-3 hours, nursing for about 10-15 minutes per side at each feeding, with a longer span between feedings occurring at least once a day.(If you are lucky, its at night!) Plenty of wet diapers and gaining weight steadily, not crying all the time. if all these things are going on, do not worry. Some babies will take as much as 8-10 ounces per feeding this time and then less at next feeding. Its like if you have a huge breakfast, maybe you will opt for a lighter lunch. If baby and seems to eat fast and then cry alot but is gaining weight, wet diapers, etc, Maybe he is a strong sucker and gets all the milk quickly and needs more sucking time. Try a pacifier on him then. He might spit it out and act angry but if the pacifier is one of those Nuk ones, a nursing baby seems to take them easier. It won't work if he is truly hungry. They also will have little growth spurts, Eating and crying for a day or two, wanting to eat every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. They do this to increase your milk supply. after a day or so you will be producing more milk and he will be happy again. you may even find yourself thirstier at this time.

Not quite sure what you mean by a breastmilk intake curve....
All I know is by that time all four of my sons were gobbling as much breastmilk as I could make for them and making lots and lots of wet and poopy diapers. And gaining weight!
