Random body tremors, what's going on?!

Question: They aren't huge spasms or anything but they've been going on for more than a year. Just little quiverings in random places of my body. And it's completely random. My parts of my thigh quiver. Sometimes it feels like my gut clenches then unclenches for a split second. It's anywhere on my body.

It doesn't hurt and you wouldn't notice it looking at me, but what's a possible diagnosis?

In California and Japan, this is normal. In fact in California and Japan, if you don't have this condition, you should see a doctor. If you don't live in either of these places, then you are like me. I had similar attacks. My family doctor didn't know the answer, and sent me to a specialist. The specialist put me on a cold metal table. I was half naked, with all kinds of wires with pads taped to various parts of my body. After about an hour of this, the specialist said "I have good news and I have bad news. Good news is, you don't have a heart problem. Bad news is that I don't know what's wrong with you." He said I should eat right and exercise some. I did that and over the months, everything went away. I have been free of attacks now for about 3 years. Good luck. (P.S. Just between you and me, do not rule out Outer Space aliens taking an interest in you.)

I've had this for 3-4 years in my hands as well as my head. Often occurs strongly when I get nervous in interacting with others.
The last year it has disappeared though and I really don't know why.
I think there's little research in the area, atleast they don't know what causes it.
I went to the doctor and he couldn't tell me what was wrong. I got some pills (also frequently used by actors, singers, performers to calm their nerves), used it a couple of times when needed, but now it seems to have disappeared.
Check out a doctor and see if he can give you a diagnosis, that's my tip. If not, perhaps you can get these pills which can be useful in some situations.

Try to relax as much as possible when you get it, take deep and relaxing breaths, feel the tension go out from your muscles.

i too have the same thing, all of a sudden my legs and hands shake sorta bad, i think it deals with anxiety due to the fact I have some problems with it, my stomach hurts as well
