You should have been referred to a specialist urologist. You have given no real history of your condition, but in any case it is vital at 16 to exclude any anatomical ( or neurological ) abnormality before deciding that the problem is psychological.

It will stop of its own accord and soon. It's a phase of life. you are ok.

Stop drinking anything an hour before you go to bed! That's how i stopped

wear a napy? dnt wory tho it will stop

Don't worry, had same-ish problem. It WILL go away and when it does you won't notice it. It's funny i first stopped when i slept in a different bed to mine.

It is psychological i think looking back on it that would make sense in my case. Anytime soon you will be fine

Best of luck

You sleep so sound that the triggers that wake other people up don't wake you up. Find a way to get up in the middle of the night go potty and go back to bed. Have some one wake you or set an alarm. They make mattresses for that purpose, an alarm goes off when it starts getting wet.

You should ask for a referral to the enuresis clinic, where they can give you an alarm that wakes you when you need to urinate. Avoid blackcurrant, orange and other acidic drinks. Try to drink loads through the day (bizarrely, this helps). There are also exercises specifically to help educate the bladder. Persist with your GP to check out all medical reasons - if nothing helps, you might want to ask for a referral to a psychologist or psychotherapist to see if that helps. If you have had some trauma in your earlier life, this may contribute, but it may be that you have a delay in some muscular development. I would strongly advise you to pursue the medical avenues first. Good luck

do not assume that it will stop on its own, 16 yrs old, and this is happening and what the GP has done, has not stopped it , My, advice is to contact the =continence advisers= for your area these are specialist nurses highly trained in this, =very confidential, privacy assured with them=.

Gosh, that must be pretty miserable.

Have you heard of a Stadium condom? It's a special condom you wear on your willy and it collects urine. It was designed in the US for people who watch games in stadia who cannot reach the lavatory.

If you can't find it email me and I'll have a hunt. I saw it about four weeks ago.
