Eating eggs and bacon everyday??????????!


Question: Do you think it is okay and healthy for someone whom eats 2 bacon ,and 2 eggs and 1 bowl of oatmeal everyday?
and is te oat meal enough iron since they dont eat much meat?

Put some raisins in the oatmeal, they have iron. Bacon, eggs and oatmeal is a good breakfast. What do you eat for lunch and dinner?

sounds pretty healthy to me.

id vary it a bit more, add fruit such as orange melon berries banana.
if you are eating bacon everyday i would think you are eating enough meat.
broccoli spinach kale are all good souses of iron

You should really not eat bacon everyday. It is so fattening and full of cholesterol. Same with eggs. Any nutritionist would tell you. I would not call it healthy myself. If you are worried about iron...you should get your levels checked. Nuts, peanut butter, whole grain breads and fortified whole grain cereals are good alternatives for supplementing iron. Vegetarians can maintain iron levels without eating meat at all.
