I'm 22yrs old and a nurse. My mother goes through the same thing. Every few days she has to go get a shot. Your mother needs to go the the ER ASAP. This could be a sign of something much more serious. We are not trying to scare you by the answers we give and ignore some ignorant people but you need to do what's best for your mother and call 911. You should not be home alone with her just in case something serious happens. Get help soon, please.

If shes crying in pain you better get her to the hospital

I would call the paramedics,,,if the dr hasnt called back, and you are only 14 that would be the best bet,,,,they can take her to the hospital and help her out with the pain,,,

call someone to take her into the hospital family friend?
My family friend was a nurse and complained of a headache, the doc ignored and in the morning she couldn't move, she had menengitis.NOT saying your mom has this, but take her in. Call the emergency room and ask for advice...they are usually VERY helpful

Call the doctor's office. Tell the nurse you are really scared. Tell her you are only 14 and you do not know what to do. Try crying. She will take you seriously and help you. Sometimes it is good to be a teenage girl.

try a cold cloth on the back fo the neck and a dark room and very quiet area all she can do is just ride it out sorry

Call 911 IMMEDIATELY.

(It sounds like it could be Meningitis. Does she have a rash on her body that when you put a glass on it doesn't blanche?)

Either way. If you are 14, call in a medical professional.

Why would you ask here for a REAL emergency?
I can only assume this is a fake question, so i will give a fake answer.

Use a power drill to drain all the negative energy out of her head.

Yeah, I'd call the paramedics. Doctors need to offer relief to her, so have them take care of it. Just put it in their hands!

She needs to go to the hospital. She might have menangitis and that could be contagious. Get her to the hospital.

this will likely pass in time. You can still try using an ice pack on the back of the neck/head (don't exceed 15 minutes). And have her lie in a drak room. If shes still having quite a bit of pain...consider caffein from coffee of mountan dew for example to constricted the dilated blood vessels in her head. Have her drink plenty of water, esp. since she is vomiting due to the pain.

i don't know what 2 do either & i'm a nurse....she needs 2 find a new dr for sure if he didn't call back.tell her 2 put something ice cold on her head & close her eyes, relax & see if that helps...good luck

Go to the hospital!
I am sorry!
I am 13 and this has happened to my mom before.
It eventually went away.
Drink water, stop taking the medicine if it isn't going away.
Call the paramedicts.

Sounds to me like your mom should probably go to the hospital and get checked out. Call the hospital -- the ER should answer -- and tell them your situation. They may be able to get an ambulance out to you, or advise you of some alternative to get her there.

Good luck.

Its time to call 911 and have her brought to the hospital where she can get some medical attention.

Good luck, I'm sure everything will be fine.

Go to the emergency room.

First, try not to panic...

Darlin' if you have someone (neighbor/relative/father) who can take your mom to the Emergency...do so. Otherwise call the paramedics...she might require a much stronger medication than she has available to her.

If she's prone to migraines this might be greatly affected by barometric pressure (weather changes) and the severity of it has intensified due to this. The hospital can assess things and ensure that this isn't being caused by something else...then they can perscribe something that will work better for her. This needs to be investigated though so if your own doctor isn't calling you back (which is just rude), then have her taken to the hospital.

Sounds like you're a pretty great kid! Try not to worry...the hospital will help her..good luck

call 911 or the emergency room....im 14 too and thi shappened to my mom. she had meningitis or however you spell it. get help ASAP!

Get her a glass of water, have her lay down in a dark room, apply an ice pack to the back of her neck. Next call a family member, friend, or even the ambulance to bring her to the nearest doctor or hospital.
Wishing you all the best!

i would call the paramedics or a family member to take her to the er. especially because of the vomiting.
at home, keep the room dark and a cold, damp washcloth on her forehead. also, make sure she is getting hydrated because of the vomit (dehydrate=dangerous). drink small sips of water or popsicles/crushed ice. but definetly try to get to the er.

Best option is to call 911 or take her to the hospital if you can, If not then try to do something that will lower her pain.

I'm not a doctor but I would like to give advice that I know

Give her dark coffee, Caffeine will make her relief from pain.

I don't know what Shot she had taken but "Aspirin" helps a lot.

Depression would cause more pain for her, Try that she don't get depressed for any reason.

Good luck, Hope everything goes well.
