Liposuction...Good or bad?!


Question: Hi, so i'm 20 years old and i'm 5'8 and weigh about 173lbs. According to my bmi that means i'm overweight. i dont really look it, but its there. I just want to lose 20 to 25 pounds on my stomach and thighs. good idea or no?

Please don't obsess over the BMI. That table doesn't take into account different builds (yes, people really are genetically different!) or MUSCLE. and muscle is actually heavier than fat!

What matters is - do you feel all right with your body? Are you in good shape? Can you do the physical activities you want to do without getting out of breath? If not, then you need more exercise, and sucking the fat out of you won't help. If your body can do everything it needs to, then relax.

Having a tube stuck into you and your fat sucked out is not a really great thing to do to your body - it's putting your body under extra stress that it has to recover from, like an injury. and your body will try to fill out and replace all that lost fat, too.

also, liposuction hurts. i've seen videos of it being done and even though the girl was unconscious she was twitching and groaning and it was really awful, especially how the doctor didn't care at all...

never do liposuction... it will mess you up... instead hit the gym and ul be good in about three-five months.. run and cycle and the eliptic
