Where do germs like to hide?!

Question: Where are some crooks and nannies germs like to hide? I've recently been sick along with other members of my family and I can't wait to go bacteria hunting. Could you list where germs like to gather and multiply?

Germs are everywhere, but they tend to congregate in some places more than others. Places that get handled a lot are where the most germs are--like doorknobs, faucets, fridge handles, flush handles on toilets, kitchen counter tops, telephones, remotes, computer keyboards, coins. They're also on seats at public places, so never wear shorts to a public stadium, or movie theater, or on a bus, or places where there are a lot of public seats. Germs also like water, so where water pools, there are more germs (and if it's outside in warm weather, probably mosquitoes also). I did a project for a microbiology class once where we had to culture various spots--and it could be anywhere we wanted. I cultured a lot of the spots mentioned above, as well as a toilet seat from a public bathroom, bathtub caulk, plants outside, rocks, pond water, duck feathers, and human hands, and human mouths. There were way more germs in mouths and hands than out in nature or in public bathrooms. What does that mean--where people put their hands, there is a big concentration of germs. Wash your hands a lot, as has been described, and even carry one of those waterless hand washing gels with you. Also, brush your teeth, and you can mix up a 50% water and 50% hydrogen peroxide solution to soak your toothbrush in between brushing your teeth. Just be sure to rinse it out really well before you brush your teeth with it. It also helps to spray the air with an air sanitizer. If you're really serious, you can also get an air purifyer. Hope this helps.

EVERYWHERE, honestly... The most effective way to avoid contracting the flu or the cold is to wash your hands! With warm water and soap for atleast 30 seconds, doing it frequently, before you eat, put anything in your mouth etc...This is how many bacteria and "germs" are transmitted.

They're literally everywhere. In fact, we're even made up of germs from the inside-out. LMAO!

everywhere! keep the home cool not warm or hot. hospital are cold. germs fester in the heat and boil everything and i keep bleach in my home for everything!

They say the three big offenders are, door knobs, telephones, and ladies purses., and of course hands seem to be the big ones.
