Weird ear question?!

Question: I was standing, doing a science exp with my kids and suddenly my ear started being weird. It felt pressury then I heard a sound in it like the sound you hear when you yawn or like the sound of a really loud wind blowing straight in it. I tried yawning, and i tried pinching my nose and blowing to make it pop, but the noise wont stop. It's just in my right ear. What in the world is this? I also have a pounding migraine today. Could they be related? I know it sounds nutty, but it's driving me nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would see an ENT (ear nose throat) Growing up with ear problems i remember this quite well. You could have a simple puncture in the eardrum, which can cause an awful lot of noise, as far as the migraine you may have an middle ear infection. If you getting strong pressure AND the headache go to the emergency room, this could be a sign of an aneurysm.

You might have an ear infection, ask a doctor

im really sorry to hear that, but idk what to tell u. i mean, first have some advil liqu-gels. then scedule a doctor appointment. maybe something got in your ear. i hope you feel better!

I would get it checked out if it doesn't go away. But in the mean time it might be just a build up of pressure from ear wax or changes in air pressure. But seriously this is a question for a doctor, not Yahoo answers.

I'd try going to your doctor's and have them look at you ear, see if you need wax removed or anything. They can make sure you don't have an infection. I wouldn't try the thing where you blow out your nose. I don't think I'd want to put more pressure on the ear. You could try a specialist, an ENT if you wanted to-an ear, nose and throat doctor. Hope things get better for you soon.

That is nothing to procrastinate on. Ear infections (if left alone too long) can infect not only the area inside your ear, but FACIAL nerves that are very very close to your ear. They spread like a branch across your face back toward your ear AND IF infected will affect your entire face on that side.

Do some research on Bells Palsy. It is a temporary or even permanent paralysis of the facial muscles and can happen for different reasons. It looks exactly like you've had a stroke, but it mainly affects your facial muscles which can affect your ability to smile, blink, raise your eyebrows, and even flair your nostril. It's very serious.

The major cause of Bells Palsy is an EAR infection left untreated too long. Bells Palsy can also do permanent damage to your facial nerve.
